This is a New Year unlike any we have yet experienced in our 70+ years of life – I continue to be challenged with Long COVID, my husband has oral surgery coming up in a week, we are still recovering from the building and moving process as well as getting settled into a new town.
I am trying to decide which of all my writing projects to pursue as I continue to unpack boxes and be available for our grandchildren’s ballgames and activities.
So I know there is need for lots of rest and recovery. But there are also lots of questions and options.
The good news with all these changes and options is that I can rely on Jesus as the Constant in my life. He is “the same yesterday, today and tomorrow” and will faithfully lead and counsel me.
Perhaps you are facing a similar New Year ahead… or perhaps it will be a continuation of the “tried and true” of your regular lives.
Either way, I’m sending blessings for your choices as well as whatever awaits you in the New Year, 2026.
