Blessings in the New Year and Back to Continuing On

We just finished a week of Special Family Times Together – 27 of us on Christmas Day- that’s a lot of hugs, stories and laughing together!

And I got to share in a Christmas Eve service by singing one of my favorite songs, “O Holy Night,” a wonderful piece that helps us focus on Jesus’ Birth.

This is the bedrock foundation in my life. My constant goal is for it to:

  • Inform everything I do
  • Influence my choices and decisions
  • Inspire my efforts and service

Now it is time to get back to building our new house. The sheet rock is up, so the rooms look like rooms. This New 2025 year will be a Monster Change one for us – moving 565 miles away and Galen’s transition of professional responsibilities. (Note: we do not use the “R” word in our home… it will just be the next season of orthodontics, not Retirement).

And I’m thankful to continue on with DISC Adult/Child relationships – each week sharing the Strengths, Struggles and Strategies for each DISC Combination. It is a joy to write these blogposts once a week on some aspect of the DISC System and its application in professional practices or its usefulness for individuals and families. My goal is to provide enough information to make a difference in your office and your life; to share what I have found to be successful so you can put your new-found learning into your personal and professional practice immediately. I hope they have been insightful and helpful.

Here’s hope for your New Year to contain some important things that will continue, some changes that bring joy and insights all along the way.
